Puls is a new wearable cuff that has standalone phone, messaging, photo and apps unlike other smartwatches. I was brought in to help the design team explore possible UI directions and codify some of the UX practices and methodologies.

DESIGN | CONCEPTING

Part of a team tasked with exploring possibilities for a virtual reality Oculus Rift style game. Gameplay was intended to be open world Zelda type exploration. We concepted different levels based on previous Black Eyed Peas albums. Wireframe head: Ernst Weber.

Will.i.am’s music video collaboration with Miley had 2 requirements - use Coke/Ecocycle colors (they were a sponsor) and make it cool. 115,000,000+ views later, we think we hit the right formula. Motion design: piratas.tv

We developed a prototype editorial app for Will to extend his fanbase reach. Using Mag+, the app could dynamic content, display video, web links and social feeds, all done rapidly and efficiently, concepts that would later be adapted into Will’s current website.

CREATIVE DIRECTION

AKQA helped Health Partners develop the first of its kind web application to help patients get treatment for simple ailments such as acne, ear infections and pink eye. I worked with a talented team to bring the year-long project to fruition. Role: ACD.
